It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Gunter Herr of Madisonville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 13, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Sherry McConkey (Vicki); her parents, James Gunter and Addie Gunter; and her siblings, Bessie Cooper, Nina Mae Gunter, James Junior Gunter, Bobby Ray Gunter and Charles Vernon Gunter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terry McConkey and Billie (Wayne Guffey); her grandchildren, Angela Couch, Hope Lee, Tracy Williams, Dustin Dotson and Jason Yates; her siblings, Charlotte Williams and Jack Gunter; and her close friends, Darren Millsaps and Kathy Davis. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.
