He was predeceased by: his mother Rev. J. L. Underwood; his daughter Beth Lynn Underwood; and his siblings, James, Paul, Joe, Emanuel, Dean, Lois, Mary and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma of Madisonville; his daughters, Kimberly Morgan, Kellie Sonner (Richard) of Elkhart, IN and Robin Derdzinski (John) of Knoxville, TN.; and his siblings, Virginia Peters of Wilmington, NC, David Underwood of Kingsport, TN and Buck Underwood (Esther) of The Villages, FL.. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and special friends.
