He was predeceased by: his mother Ica Burrell Massingale; his sister Artelle Mantooth; and his parents-in-law, Joyce and J. T. Gibby. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Massingale; his sons, Greg (Brooke Massingale) and Kevin (Shannon Massingale); his grandchildren, Ethan, Sydney, Jake, Lauren and Alyssa Massingale; his brother Buford; and his sister-in-law Phyllis McDowell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rocky Springs Baptist Church Building Fund.
