She was predeceased by: her husband Angelo "Chic" Ferlito; her parents, Nancy Elizabeth Shirk and Eugene "Buddy" Shirk; her siblings, Bruce Shirk, Billie Eugene Shirk and Jeralene Barbier; her sons, Charles Junior Borden, Buster Eugene Borden and Troy Lee Borden; and her grandchildren, Denver J. Hedrick, David Borden and Chaz Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Grossman-Connor, Darlene Stephens, Mary Ann Hedrick, Kathy (Rickey Kleveno) and Steve of Madisonville; her daughter-in-law Rita Borden of Madisonville; and her brothers, Kenneth Shirk and Austin Shirk.
