He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Peels and Ellen Dockery Peels; and his siblings, Mae Allen, James Peels (Bud), Willis Peels, Marlin Peels, Raymond Peels, Claymond Peels and Linnie Taylor Peels.
He is survived by: his daughter Sarah; his son-in-law Michael Lewis; his sons, Marshall Ray Peels and Alfred (DeeAnn Peels); his daughter-in-law Barbara Hensley; his grandchildren, Jessica Webb (Jake), Aaron Lewis, Anthony Peels (Petra), Allen Peels (Amanda), Amanda Dennis (Michael), Eirc Peels and Greg Peels (April); his great grandchildren, Aubrianna, Blayden, Marshall Gage, Maddie, Owen, Hayden, Landon, Logan, Tanner, Mackenzie, Cody and Stella; and his siblings, Christine McDaniel (Robert), Alice Davis (Merle), Mazel Sloan, Ronnie (Sandra Peels) and Clarence (Paula Peels). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
