He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathy McDaniel; his daughter Amy Keener; his son-in-law Jake Keener of Vonore; his sons, Greg Johnson of Madisonville and Chad (Laura Beth Johnson); his grandchildren, Collins Watson, Jacob Keener of Vonore, Elijah Johnson, Kaiti Johnson, Levi Johnson, Logan Johnson of Madisonville, Silas Johnson and Isaiah Johnson of Tellico Plains; his parents, Austin McDaniel and Eula Faye McDaniel; his siblings-in-law, Gayle Hunt, Sherrie and Rick Martin of Madisonville; his nieces and nephews, Daisie, Jeremiah Lethcoe, Jennifer McDaniel of Madisonville, Heather, Joey McDonald of Sweetwater and Andy Hunt of Madisonville; and his siblings, Joellene McDaniel and Paul Wayne McDaniel.
