She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dr. James H. Amburgey; her daughter Katheryn Joyce Amburgey; her parents, Nelly Bowman and Shade Bowman; her children, Brenda Lou Amburgey of Madisonville, J. Michael Amburgey (Cynthia) of Johnson City and W. Eric Amburgey (Jeninne) of Madisonville; and her sister Joyce Burke. She was also cherished by six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren all of which loved their "Nana".
