He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Gering and Zonta McCloud Gering; and his siblings, Judy Banks, Sue Miller, Alan Gering, Danny Gering and Rick Gering.
He is survived by: his wife Carrie Haas Gering of Madisonville; his children, April Scroggs (Carl) of Madisonville, Diana Croft of Philadelphia and Justin Mayse (Catherine) of Sweetwater; and his siblings, Robin Miller (Wayne) of Holly, MI and Walt Gering (Marge Olepa) of Riverview, MI. He is also survived by 22 Grandchildren; 1 Great Granddaughter.
