He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Jewel Spradlin Coleman; his parents, Wesley Oliver and Edna Louise Moser Coleman; his siblings, Alene (Howard Law), Sue (Mack Harrison), Patsy Coleman and Stanley; his sister-in-law Ruthie Coleman; and his stepmother Robbie Coleman.
He is survived by: his sons, John (Glenda Coleman) and Randy Coleman of Englewood; his granddaughters, Jennifer Montes (Big John Montes) of Madisonville, Jessica Ann Coleman and Katie McCoy of Decatur; his great grandchild Alexis Dodd (Jeremiah Dodd) of Madisonville; his siblings, Lorene Atkins, Patsy Bivens, Charlotte Turner, J. W. Coleman, Billy Akins and Danny Akins; his siblings-in-law, Willie, Tommy Self and Beatrice McKelvey; and his nieces and nephews, Ricky, Hye Yon Coleman of Madisonville, Betty and Dan Harris of Rockford. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
