He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ruth Ashford; his parents, Charlie Ashford and Mona Marie Riddle Ashford; and his son-in-law David Allen Laws. He is survived by: his children, Connie Michelle Laws, Sandra Hughes (Avery) and Henry David Ashford, Jr.; his grandchildren, Spencer Tilley, Daniel Ashford, Brian Tilley, Mary Tilley, Cyle Ashford, Cheyenne Laws and Heather Tilley; and his great grandchildren, Noah Tilley and Mackenzie Grace Tilley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
