She was predeceased by: her children, Deborah Hicks and Mike Hicks; her grandson Zachary Hicks; her parents, Wesley Cardin and Della Cardin; and her siblings, Edith Long, Lena Watson, Ruby Layman, Jessie Gibson, Raymond and Ruel Cardin.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Sarah Michelle, Kelly Jo and Numerous. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Youth Tribe building fund.
