He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph McKinley Tilson and Fannie Josephine Tilson; and his siblings, Velma Tilson Hart and David Gale Tilson. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Torbett Tilson; his daughter Janet; his son-in-law Tracy Gilson; his daughter Ange; his son-in-law Mark Clem; his grandchildren, Zachary Lane (Lindsay), Deanna Gilson, Elissa Hawkins (Taylor) and David Gilson; and his great grandchildren, Henry "Hank" Franklin, Eleanora "Nora" Lane and Lane Alan Hawkins.
