He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Willard Kirkland and Johnnie Sue Kirkland. He is survived by: his wife Carol McCoy; and his siblings, Wilma (Joseph), Patty Slotnick (Erick), Brenda McCormick (Denny), Kathy Shirk, McDonald, Gordon Kirkland and Ronnie Kirkland.
