He was predeceased by: his grandson Jacob Tyler Summers; his father Roy Stanton; and his brothers, Delmar Stanton, George Stanton and Mike Stanton.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Brooklynn; his wife Mary Ann Stanton; his daughter Christal; his son-in-law Jeff Summers; his son Shannon; his daughter-in-law Lauren Stanton; his grandchildren, Jeremy and Jessie Summers; his great grandchildren, Haley Summers, Hannah Summers and Kyler Beaty-Summers; his sisters, Lilian Cox and Sue Hines; and his sister-in-law Patty Stanton.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family through the funeral home.
