DOLLIE (JEAN) LANKFORD, 75, of Madisonville, went home to be with Jesus 2:55 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. She was loved by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her and she will be missed. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, John Lankford; a son, Rodney Lankford; parents, Sam Cleveland Mason and Addie Lee Mason and 3 infant sisters. She is survived by her longtime companion, Wade Freeman; her son, Mike (Shannon) Lankford; her daughter, Sharon Land (Darrell Atkins); granddaughters, Cara Coffelt (Charles), Alicia Benson (Jonathon), Chancy Welshan (Jake Coon), Kristen Moody (Don); grandsons, Caleb Evans, Hunter Lankford (Elizabeth), Ron Leinart, Jr. and several great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Bivens; brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Rosa Mason. Graveside service and interment 3:00 p.m. Thursday, New Bethel Cemetery, Rev. Carl Croft officiating. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
