He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Ellis and Noraleen Smith. He is survived by: his wife Katya Ellis; his sons, Tod Ellis (Karin), Daniel Ellis (Jordan), David Ellis (Raina), Petr Ellis and George Ellis (Svetlana); his grandchildren, Heather Branham (Andrew), Mason Ellis, Ethan, Lily Ellis, Avery, Emery, Lucy, Ruby Ellis and Esenia Ellis; his great grandchildren, Tallie, Taylor, Tenslee and Teagan Branham; and his sister Marie Owens.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel Baptist Church (314 Hill St, Madisonville, TN 37354). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Reed Springs Cemetery (485 Reed Springs Church Rd, Philadelphia, TN 37846).
Since 2000 he was raising support for third world pastors with Final Frontiers Foundation.
