He was predeceased by: his parents, Cheatle, Sr. Arwood and Ida Hull Arwood; his son Keith Arwood; his daughter-in-law Kathy; the mother of his children Pauletta "Honey"; and his siblings, James, Jack, Fred, George, Cheatle, Jr., Lilace and Kathleen.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Arwood; his sons, Randy, Doran (Princess) and Terry Cathi; and his siblings, Don, Johnnie Ruth and Barbara Jean. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Biereley-Hale Funeral Home (4650 US-411, Madisonville, TN 37354). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Hiwassee Church of God (470 Short Bark Rd, Madisonville, TN 37354).
