He was predeceased by: his sister Violet Marie Thomas; his parents, Onie Park Thomas and Bonnie Lorene Thomas Sledge; and his brothers, Cecil Thomas and Stanley Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Ann Cook, Tabitha Dawn (Jeff Prock) and Crystal Lee Ann (Jason Smith); his grandchildren, Hunter Jay Prock, Cody Matthew Prock, Landin Michael Brock and Charly Reese Smith; his great grandchildren, Hunter Jackson Prock and Sonny Lane Prock; and his siblings, Mark Thomas, Brenda Lethcoe, Linda Wimberly, Jane Lynn and Cindy Taylor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
