He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernestine Sweat (Collier) and Press Sweat; and his siblings, Wade Sweat, Randolph Sweat, Bruce Sweat, Helen Ford, Clarissa Whitworth and Sherrie Sweat.
He is survived by: his siblings, Murray Sweat, Cassie Williams (Donald) and Elsie Sweat. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and great nephews.
