He is survived by: his wife Leah Rigby Gilbert of Madison; his son Alston Ervin Gilbert of Madison; his siblings-in-law, Danny Holt of Kosciusko and Anna Holt of Kosciusko; his nephew Mason Holt; his niece Mady Holt; his sister Denise Gilbert; and also, Jimmy Rigby, Ina Jones Rigby of Kosciusko and Lacey King.
