He was predeceased by: his parents, Odis Donehew and Rama Donehew; and his siblings, Bob Donehew, William Donehew and Linda Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Beeler Donehue; his son Roy Dwayne Donehue; and his sisters, Blanche Thomas and Eileen Chapman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
