He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Murray and Agnes Bradford Murray; and his son Thomas David Murray. He is survived by: his wife Judith Ligon of Lebanon, TN; his children, Roger Murray III (Kelly), Luanne Story (Jimmy), Will Murray and Melissa Bloemer (Bernie); his daughter-in-law Janice Murray; his sister Mona Ward (Jerry); and his brother-in-law Gary Ligon (Barbara). He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, the family will hold private services on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with a private burial to follow in Hollywood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carl Perkins Center or YouthTown.
