He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph R. Tanner and Margaret Carlisle Tanner; and his children, Charles Eric Tanner and Cherrie Ann Tanner. He is survived by: his sons, Ralph L. "Lee" Tanner Jr. (Stephanie) and Randy Tanner (Julie); his former wife Patricia Tanner; and his grandchildren, Destiny, C. J., Alicia, Amber, Stormie, Chris, Valerie, Kayemen, Austan and Blake. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
