He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Cooper Girton; his son Sonny Girton; his parents, Walter Girton and Mammie Lee Girton; and his brothers, Walter Girton and Charles Girton.
He is survived by: his children, Manuel Girton, Jr., Walter Girton (Pansy), Paul Girton (Tammy), Teddy Girton (Donna), Harry Girton (Joyce), Julie Lee (Myer), Ramona Girton, Ruby Cardona (Danny) and Annie Girton; and his siblings, Phillip Girton, Lisa Girton and Tanya Girton. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
