She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Lawson Moore and Vada Maynard Moore; her children, Charles Jeffrey Rice and Donna Rice Weiss; and her sister Marie Moore.
She is survived by: her husband Denver Rice; her daughter Teresa Rice McMahon (Phillip); her siblings, Hugh Moore, Donnell Moore, Eva Lois Sellars, Daris O'Connor and Denise Moore; her grandchildren, Melanie McCrary (Billy) and Derrick Purtle; her great grandchildren, Brooke, Bridgett, David, Rett and Arden; her great great grandchildren, Veda and Caroline; and her pet Whiskers.
