He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Vernon Brown, Sr. and Jo Ann Christy Mayes; his sister Sarah Brown; and his grandparents, Mable Sarah Mallard, James Hubert Christy, Robert Mallard, Elsie Brown and Edmond Brown.
He is survived by: his sisters, Vivian Gill of Chapel Hill, TN, Vanessa Brown of Murfreesboro, TN and Christy Abbott (Alicia Hawkins) of Madison, TN; and his stepfather Robert Mayes of Madison, TN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
