He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Rivers; his parents, Esther Rivers and Thomas Rivers; and his daughter Barbara Howell. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Wood (Kevin) and Jennifer Al-Athari (Haider); and his sister Marilyn Stewart. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
