It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanine Labelle Shaffer of Madison, Tennessee, born in Lancaster, Ontario, who passed away on March 21, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph LaBelle and Claire Chateline LaBelle; her husband Calvin Shaffer; her son Lawrence Townsend; and her brothers, Maurice LaBelle and Richard LaBelle.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Townsend of Haiti, Dale Townsend (Janet) of Hayward, CA, Timothy Townsend (Cathy) of Madison, TN and Jean Alizor (John) of Nigeria; and her grandchildren, Eric Townsend and Amanda Brown (Tommy).
