She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Mack Sherrill and Allie Pearl Cunningham Sherrill; her husband Buford Allen Jones Sr.; and her siblings, George Sherrill, Millard Sherrill and Josephine Lemming.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Sherrill Jones (Bonnie), Betty Ann Cox (Randy) and Draughons; her brothers, Fred Sherrill and Cecil Sherrill; her son Buford "Allen" Jones Jr. (Cindy); her grandchildren, Lee Jones, Diann Cunningham, Angie Boeing, Winston Cox, Thomas Jones and Jonathan Jones; and her stepdaughter Jennifer Collier. She is also survived by 10 great-grand-children.
