We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2019, at the age of 93, Helen Margaret Oakley (Madison, Tennessee), born in Gastonia, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elonza Fletcher and Ida Shepherd Fletcher; her husband Edward Gordon Oakley; and her siblings, Ecklice Fletcher, Paul Fletcher, Ophelia Givens, Norman Fletcher, Earl Fletcher and Arthur Fletcher.

She is survived by: her children, Stephen Oakley, Brenda Smith and Fletcher Bridges (Elaine). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
