She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer T. Nix and Geraldine Taylor Nix; her husband Richard "Dick" Murray, Sr.; and her siblings, Lois Nix Clark, Donald Nix and William Nix.
She is survived by: her children, Richie Murray (Angie) and Jennifer Parker (Mike); her grandchildren, Jake Murray, Luke Murray, Creed Murray and Olivia Parker; her siblings, Virginia McClellan, Sarah Bartlett and Larry Nix; and her granddaughter Genevieve.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Cane Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
