She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert F. Hopper and Lucy Cordelia Sellers Hopper; her husband Carlos Whitman; her daughter Phyllis Whitman Moody; and her siblings, Robert Hopper, Eugene Hopper, Lila Boone, Violet Smith, Annie Burkhead and Beatrice Weir.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Whitman Collins (Jerry) of Denmark and Barbara Whitman Ray (Danny) of Beech Bluff; and her son-in-law Harold Moody of Beech Bluff. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
