He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Smith and Margaret Smith (Chaffin). He is survived by: his brothers, James W. Smith Jr. and Robert Smith; his children, Earl Lee Smith II and Lara Lin Strohecker (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Typhanee King, Jamison Strohecker and Joleena Strohecker; and his great grandchild James Stevens. He is also survived by One uncle, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
