He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Miller and Nell Miller; and his brothers, Truman, Charlie, Joe and Bill Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Allen Miller; his children, Karen Woodson (Terry) and Danny Miller (Beverly); his grandsons, Troy Miller (Ashley), Jason Miller (Heather) and Nick Buttler; his stepgranddaughters, Tara Griffin (Chris) and Teri Ann Hooper (Kevin); and his sister Mary Ellen Woodmore (Don). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Dan's memory be made to Goodlettsville Church of Christ or Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
