He was predeceased by: his parents, Dubley Moore and Corrine Moore; his wife Betty Ann Tyree; and his siblings, Fleta Holliday and Thomas Tyree.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles B. Tyree Jr. (Betty) and William Tyree; his siblings, Genny Pardue and Richard Moore (Wilma); his grandson Mark Tyree; and his great grandchildren, Samatha and Tyler Tyree.
