She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Jones and Mary E. Moore Jones; her husband James Vernon Hicks; and her siblings, Bessie Page, Vernon Jones, Jimmy Thomas Jones, Shirley Burcham and Bill Jones.
She is survived by: her brother Bobby Jones (Marilyn); her children, Sonia Hicks and Stan Hicks (Donna); her grandsons, Cory Hicks (Tegan), Joshua Hicks (Ashley) and Collin Hicks (Hayley); and her stepgrandchildren, Scott Kellam (Chienny), Courtnie Croley (Jon), Jennifer Taylor (Shane) and Braly Taylor. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and 7 step great-grandchildren.
