He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Robert Gregory Sr. and Eva Nell Doble Gregory; his stepmother Edith Mai Bowman Gregory; and his brothers, Samuel Clayton Gregory (Bubba), Larry Gregory and James Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Ann Gregory of Ogden, Cindy Lee of Ogden, Russell "Russ" Gregory of Scottsville, KY, Jody of Tampa, Larry Gregory of Tampa and Samuel Ronald Gregory (Marcie) of Springfield; and his siblings, Sandy Gregory Silcox (Rex), Joyce Branham of Lebanon, Edna Bowlin, Linda Mosley (Ben) of Brush Creek, Robert "Ernie" Gregory (Penny) of Riddleton and Michael Gregory (Teresa) of Madison. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
