He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cecil and Viola Abernathy Cox. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cox of Lynnville, Tennessee.; his children, Tabetha Reynolds (Derome) of Pulaski, TN and Darrel Cox (Diane) of Pulaski, TN; his grandchildren, Edward, Sean, Taliyah, DePrece and Cody; and his siblings, Julia Shrader of Pulaski, TN and Johnny Cox (Brenda) of Columbia, TN.
