He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lee and Mabel Myers Herbst. He is survived by: his sons, David Herbst (Katherine) of Florida and Michael Herbst (Sunshine) of Enterprise, AL; his nieces, Jennifer, Heather Herbst and Ashley Rosa; and his nephew Markie Rosa. He is also survived by six grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
