We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2021, James D. Grimes of Lynnville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Grimes and Shirley Grimes (Balentine). He is survived by: his wife Dawn Grimes; his children, Jessie Grimes, Jon Grimes (Miranda), Mike Grimes (Allison) and Tyler Jones (Jillian); his brothers, Larry Grimes (Lisa Pellegrino), Bruce Grimes (Gelsomina), Edward Grimes (Donna) and Rob Grimes (Patty); his grandsons, Leo and Eli Jones; and his uncle Geoff.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Boys and Girls Club of Columbia and Pulaski; The Well Food Pantry or Wounded Warrior Project.
