He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Dalton and Sarah Blackwell Dalton; his former wife Mary Terry Dalton; his children, James Dalton, Charles Dalton and Brenda Dalton; his siblings, Caroline Rogers, Helen Dalton, Frank Dalton, Melvin Dalton and Vincent Dalton; and his stepchildren, Debra Burns and Bobby Hargrove.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Stone Dalton of Lynnville, TN; his children, Freddy Dalton (Patty) of Lewisburg, TN, Ronnie Dalton (Bonnie) of Lewisburg, TN, Terry Dalton of Lewisburg, TN, Fredia Barry (Michael) of Nashville, TN and Vonda Hale (Jack) of Nashville, TN; his stepson Eddie Fowler of Gallatin, TN; and his siblings, Ann Roberts of Nashville, TN and Wayne Dalton (Janice) of Lewisburg, TN. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
