He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Harris and Vella Garrison Harris; his brothers, Phil and David Harris; his brother-in-law Denny Koepplinger; and his grandson Jeffery Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Burton Harris; his children, Derek Harris (Mandie) of Lynchburg, Amanda Black of Fayetteville and Norah Woolworth of Michigan; his siblings, Les of Michigan, Steve of Michigan, Charlie Harris of Michigan and Judy Koepplinger of Michigan; and his grandchildren, Brandon Howell, Zackary Howell, Jessica Black, Layla Harris and Barrett Harris.
