With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Sue Thrower of Lynchburg, Tennessee, who passed away on July 27, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Shields and Aileene Shields; her husband Nolan Emmett Thrower; and her sisters, Annie D Raby and Nell Boone Groce.
She is survived by: her children, Angie Roach (Van) of Lynchburg, Nicky Thrower (Anita) of Lynchburg and Toby Thrower of Antioch; her grandchildren, Callie McKelvey (Michael) of Hartselle, AL, Katie Beth Nolen of Cleveland, TN, Matt Thrower (Dana) of Walterboro, SC and Josh Thrower (Marcy) of Lynchburg; her great grandchildren, Camryn McKelvey, Colton McKelvey, Reed McKelvey, Reese Thrower, Lincoln Thrower, Eli Thrower, Finn Thrower and Joanna Thrower; her brother Roy Glenn Groce of Mulberry; her nephew Jerry Raby; and her niece Lori Ann Brandon.
