It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Moore Ashworth of Lyles, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 20, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Wilson Ashworth; his wife Brenda Kay Ashworth; his siblings, Virginia Ashworth Jones, Billy Ashworth, Bobby Ashworth, Donnie Ashworth, Elbert Ashworth and Charles Ashworth; and his sister-in-law Margaret Ashworth.
He is survived by: his daughter Dana McKee (Doyle) of Columbia, TN; his grandson D. J. McKee of Spring Hill, TN; and his brother Harold Ashworth (Judy) of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by many loving nieces & nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Nashville Rescue Mission or to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
