He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Slim" and Mary Frances Welch; and his sister Juanita Lindsey. He is survived by: his children, Harold Welch III, Ryan Welch (Jennifer), Samantha Fitzgerald (Jason) and Megan Welch; his grandchildren, Brandie Martin and Ivee Himes; his great grandchild Juliana; his siblings, Threesa Walton, Glenda Roberts, Pam Smith (Larry), Buddy Welch (Cheryl) and Paula Welch; and his brother-in-law Terry Lindsey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
