With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Jefferson Daugherty of Lyles, Tennessee, born in Franklin, Tennessee, who passed away on July 19, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Oliver and Lena Daugherty (Lampley). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Daugherty; his children, Lisa Ann Daugherty, James Wayne Daugherty and Mindy Daugherty Walker; his grandchildren, Conner, Candace Conner, Emily Anne Marie Ellis and Henry Wyatt Briglio (Bethany); his great grandchild Ava Marie Briglio; and his sister Sue Daugherty Smith.

“To the Daugherty Family. I am so sorry to hear of Davids passing. Her and I were best of friends while in the Army in Germany in 1969 & 1970. We spent most of our On Duty and Off Duty time together. Most of us called him DOC because a few guys could not correctly pronounce his name. He is in this Army unit photo..on the left. 2 rows from the bottom, the 3rd soldier from the left. God bless him. Love u my brother. See u on the other side. Dizzy”
