With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Travis Booker of Lyles, Tennessee, born in Hickman, Tennessee, who passed away on November 6, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John T Booker and Hallie Potts Booker Tidwell; his stepfather Herbert "Hub" Tidwell; his former wife Jessie Vaughn Booker; his son-in-law Barry Rochelle; his sister Betty Sue Henson; and his great grandchild Cooper Parker.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Booker (Lori) of Bon Aqua, Brian Keith Booker (Sarah) of Bon Aqua and Tanya Rochelle of Centerville; his siblings, John Booker of Bellevue, Wayne Tidwell of Lyles, Melba McFarlin of Dickson and Carol Winters of Lyles; his grandchildren, Alesha Parker, Paige Dedman (Corey), Kyle Rochelle (Jessica), Kaitlyn Harris (John), Desirea Beard (Tommy) and Brittany Hartman; and his great grandchildren, Addy, Amous, Keegan, Levi, Gage, Adaleigh, Elliana, Kaydence, Liam and Hadlli.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
