She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacey Sample and Mardell Sample; her siblings, Carlene Gollard, Ted Sample, Edward Sample and Freddie Sample; and her brothers-in-law, Leo Marsh and Ed Cook.

She is survived by: her husband John L. Roberts; her daughter Janet Roberts-Morgan (Mark Morgan); her grandchildren, Lucas Morgan (Jesse Chait) and Elizabeth Wheeler (Matthew Wheeler); her great grandchild Ada-Rose Wheeler; her sisters, Vada (Jim Montaque) and Elma Connor; her siblings-in-law, Dr. Jim Roberts (Barbara Roberts), Mary Cook, Kay Marsh and Jane Hamlin (Gene Hamlin); and her son Troy Branson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
