It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Odell Coffey Jr. of Luttrell, Tennessee, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter April Gilliam; his parents, Joe Coffey and Ruby Coffey (Myers); and his sister Janet Dyer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rutherford Coffey; his children, Donna Heatherly (Marvin) and Tony Neal Coffey; his grandchildren, Brandon Heatherly, Danielle Heatherly, Gage Gilliam and Devin Gilliam; his great grandchild Bryson Heatherly; and his siblings, Alice Hodge of Blaine, Linda Dixon (Donnie) of Blaine, Cathy Majors (Mike) of Blaine, Jerri Spencer (Randy) of North Carolina, Elaine Palmer (Jimmy) of Mascot, Gail Bolin of Strawberry Plains, Ralph Coffey (Martha) of Luttrell and Steve Coffey (Carolyn) of Corryton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
