He is survived by: his wife Patricia Henderson Chapman; his children, Randy Chapman (Ginger), Jeff Chapman (Susan) and Chris Flatford (Kristy); his grandchildren, Maegan Lay (Matthew), Drew Chapman, Savannah Munsey (Jake), Sydney Chapman, Hannah Flatford, Holly Chapman and Leah Flatford; his great grandchildren, Brinnley Munsey, Merrick Lay, Maelynn Lay and Layne Munsey; and his brother-in-law Wayne Henderson (Jody).

Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Halls Chapel (4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Luttrell Cemetery.
